Mudrooms Everywhere!

Even though the Pacific Northwest isn’t the most demanding of environments for a mudroom, it is still a popular request from our clients.  Especially those with kids – shoes, backpacks, athletic equipment – all could use a designated spot to drop by the door.  An entire room designated for this is a real luxury; most of our clients have spaces that need to be multifunctional and still manage to look good.  A couple of our projects were featured in this article about mudrooms on Houzz this week.

Kudos really go to the clients that inspire these spaces!

New faces, late post!

Since September, the faces around our office have been changing.  Liz Morgan has left us for a worthy cause – to be a mindfulness instructor for One House of Peace. She is a hard act to follow, but we are confident that the new “Liz” – Liz Marchalonis, is up for the job! We feel so lucky to have Liz on board and she’s been cranking away on projects since September.

But wait, there’s more!  Chelsea Neath also joined our office this fall. Chelsea has a professional background as a bookkeeper and an executive assistant. Needless to say she is bringing organizational delight to our daily lives!

And while we’re at it – we’ve moved!  We loved our office in the Ford building and it was a hard decision to make, but an opportunity came up that we just couldn’t refuse. A client has asked us to share office space with them, in the building that we designed!  We can now be found in Suite 1 at 1033 SE Main.  We’re certain that you will be hearing more about this project, and you will probably recognize many of the photos.

Thanks so much for your support – without it these exciting changes would not be possible!
